Mission

The mission of Little Tokens Foundation is to promote literacy and improve educational standards of students in underserved communities.

Vision

The vision of Little Tokens Foundation is for every child in Ghana have access to good quality education.

Achievements

Some Achievements of Little Tokens Foundation

School Supplies

Provided school supplies to 180 school students, enough to take them through the academic year

Literacy

Organize Saturday literacy classes boosting performance of students in school by 15.5% in our first year of operations. Also provided snacks for students at the end of each class.

Classroom Renovation

Renovated 3 out of 7 classrooms to create conducive learning atmosphere for students.

Provision of Radio Sets

In partnership with The Gilded Flame we provided radio sets so students can be able study on radio as schools remain closed due to Covid-19

Provision of Uniforms and Shoes

Provided school uniforms and school shoes for 30 students

Provision of Desks

18 Dual desks have been provided so students feel comfortable in school

Enrollment

Enrollment of students in school has risen by 10% in school we work with

Little Tokens Foundation Book Bank

This provides students the opportunity to borrow books and send home as schools remain closed due to Covid-19

Organized Sports Events

In collaboration with First Touch Africa we organized a sports event teaching students about team work, determination, fostering respect and open communication.

Objectives

To improve school infrastructure in underserved communities
To promote literacy in underserved schools and communities by organizing literacy classes and setting up or building libraries
To provide items such as school uniforms and shoes to students in underserved communities or schools
To provide school supplies to school students periodically
To promote the importance of education to community members
To equip teachers and other education front liners with innovative ways to impart knowledge and skills
